Today Kate’s pre-school class went on the school bus to visit the elementary school where many of them will be going to pre-K and kindergarten next year. Here she is waiting not so patiently for the bus to arrive:
Finally it came and she could barely contain her excitement
She must have blown me a million kisses out the window—I can’t believe my baby is going to pre-K next year!
After the bus left, I rushed down to Westport to meet Jessica from The Entertaining House at Crumbs Bakery. Crumbs flagship store is in Manhattan and they are famous for their cupcakes. Just look at this yumminess:
I indulged in the Hostess which can be seen in the middle of the front row! Yummers!!! I also picked up a red velvet to take home to Miss Priss.
Red Velvet is her fav; she even wants her wedding cake to be Red Velvet. (Remind me sometime and I may share my grandmother’s famous Red Velvet cake recipe; she was well known for bringing it to tea at the Pi Phi house at Memphis State when my mother and her older sister were actives. It is To Die For!).
Jessica and I had a great time together as always; if you haven’t checked out her blog, treat yourself. You will enjoy it more than I enjoyed my Hostess cupcake, I promise!
And thank you to all of you for your support with Miss Priss’ Helen costume. Her presentation was today and Guess What?! She got a 100!!!!!!! And the teacher said she loved her costume!!!! I am so proud of her; she worked so hard and she definitely deserved it!
