Miss Priss says she looks like she is modeling a plus-sized Helen Of Troy costume!!! It does make her look MUCH larger than she is but no matter what I do I can’t seem to make it flattering…

You can tell that shes in there under a lot of fabric..her arms , legs % face give it away. I had the same issue a couple years back. Use a lighter weight of fabric like organza. Its heer but if you have the ability you can line the appropraite areas.
Good luck!!!
She looks great! I love all the embellishments. I hope it turned in to a fun project for you both!
I think she looks great!
I have to tell you, I am impressed! She looks great to me!
Okay, truth and love here from SAL.Don't do it!! Her chest looks bigger than what it is. it's too much material. From one big chested self consious gal... don't do it. she is too precious and i don't want her to be made fun of. teen girls AND boys can be jerks. what does she say about the project? I love ya and wouldn't dare be disrespectful. I know you probably went to a lot of work to make it fab, but try to take out some material around the chest area.
If you want to make it more fitted, make the shoulder straps more narrow and it will probably make the dress more narrow proportionately. This is coming from a seamstress point of view. OR -- You could make it strapless and then add wide straps with the gold embellishment to it. Am I making sense?
I think she looks great and it looks very similar to a costume bought online to me.
