Pinkie is on a roll…

I got my vegetable garden planted yesterday and, even though I am so sore that I can’t move this morning , I am so excited that I am on my way to fresh vegetables a-plenty.

Pinkie supervised my planting

and informed that white cabbage butterflies are going to lay their eggs on my Chinese Cabbage.

Later in the day, when Mr. K came home and fixed himself his customary evening martini Pinkie asked him to race her in the pool and told him that whoever wins “gets to drink that martini!”  Where does she come up with this stuff?!

We are off to have Pinkie’s dance picture made.  This year they are doing a tap dance to “You’re Never Fully Dressed Without a Smile” from Annie.  It’s too cute!  Her costume has a pillbox hat for crying out loud!!!  Here is a picture I took of her in the front yard wearing her costume:

She is dying to wear her lipstick for the pic but I talked her into simply wearing some Carmex for shine—sheew!
