Every Tuesday afternoon, Pinkie and I go to story time at the library. It is so much fun and our children’s librarian is a hoot. Her name is Miss Joy and she knows everyone in town and all about them as well. Once she called me at home to tell me that I could not attend an upcoming evening event at the library that I had signed up for because I was supposed to be touring the Middle School that same night! Thank goodness Miss Joy can keep my schedule straight because I sure can’t!
Today was our last story time ever as most of the children in the class will be going to kindergarten next year so Miss Joy threw the children a Pizza Party to say “goodbye.”
After pizza, we sang songs and played with the parachute and listened to a story about going to kindergarten.
Then Miss joy gave all the children a parting gift:
When we got home we noticed that my roses have bloomed
And so has my first peony!!!
The iris are also in bloom
But the most exciting part of the day is that my copy of Designing Women’s First Season on DVD has shipped from Amazon.com and I was able to preorder Season 2 which will be available August 11th!
OMG y’all, I cannot tell how excited I am. Designing Women is THE BEST SITCOM OF ALL TIME!!! I have no idea what took it so long to come out on DVD but go to Amazon NOW and order your copies!!!! I can’t wait until my mom comes so we can watch them together! Talk about the highlight of my WHOLE ENTIRE summer!!!!
