When we finally found our way to the parking garage I realized that I forgot Pinkie's stroller so she spent most of the day riding on her Daddy's shoulders
As always, our first stop was the nearest hot dog vendor where Pinkie ordered her first of three (!) dirty water dogs of the day
Then we walked down 5th so the big girls could shop at Juicy, H & M and Anthropolgie
Pinkie feel in love with the ornate staircase at Juicy and she descended it pretending to be a princess
Goofing around on the street
Next we headed over to Rockefeller Center to grab a quick bite to eat at Dean & Deluca
Then passed by Radio City Music Hall
on our way to Magnolia Bakery for a half dozen of their divine cupcakes to take home
As we passed by all the participants in the day's parade we couldn't help but stop and stare at their costumes
Cookie and her best friend, C, could not resist getting a pic with these guys
When Pinkie asked us why everyone was dressed up so, we just told her they were in the circus!
Finally, we took a cab over to Pier 42 on the Hudson River for a tour of Manhattan Island
Here the girls goof off before boarding the boat
Finally it was time to get on the boat
for a really cool three hour tour where we learned tons about the city's history and saw all the sights, such as the Manhattan Skyline
Ellis Island
The Statue of Liberty
And all of the bridges surrounding the island
After we got off the boat we took these two cuties over to Macy's where they shopped 'til we all dropped then we headed home, exhausted and smiling.

Looks like an awesome day!! I grew up in NY and we are now in Rhode Island, but I try to take my girls to the City as often as possible. Your awesome recap has given me the itch to go soon! Hi from a fellow New Englander, love your blog!
Fun, fun! NYC for the day. The best I can do is ATL. Wanna trade?
