It has been two weeks without a car. Hopefully, I can get it today. While I have been stuck at home, I've been sewing.
I got this cute coordinating corduroy fabric from Hobby Lobby and used it to make a tiered skirt using Grand Revival Designs' tutorial.
I made this outfit for her to wear during the holidays. (In case you can't tell from the pic, the skirt is covered with crowns.) This skirt, along with the next
This is obviously a Halloween outfit--I love the black damask skirt; she will probably wear it some during the Holidays. This skirt, as well as the next three, were all made from dishtowels purchased at World Market (I posted this tutorial on here back in the spring.)!
More damask!
And floral with a damask trim!
I appliqued this Cinderella slipper on a plain white tee (Walmart has some adorable plain tees right now with grosgrain trim at the neckline!) using some of the Sis Boom fabric I got at her last show.
I also used some Sis Boom fabric to dress up these sweatsuits. I know old school sweatsuits like these are sort of dorky but Pinkie loves wearing them around these house during the depths of winter when the snow is on the ground and it is like 47 below! They are fleece lined and so warm and cozy!
I am waiting for one more item to come in the mail so I can finish her Halloween costume. Hopefully, it will come today so that I can share her costume with you SOON!
P.S. Laura, I don't think my MOPS' girls were all that impressed with the Moon Pies I gave them; one girl didn't even take hers home with her--she left it on our table!

You need to open an Etsy store. You are so creative!!! That little model of yours is too cute :)
I second the etsy store suggestion! These outfits are so cute (as is the model--love the big bows!)! I wish I had the talent to whip up such adorable clothes!
. . . And I can't imagine anyone not wanting a Moon Pie!
Wow! To be so talented!! Your K has the cutest clothes EVER
These outfits are just plain ADORABLE! I am very jealous...I have a nice sewing machine, but have only made one skirt...for a Dora doll! ;)
Wow - great sewing, great monograms, and everything is cute, cute, cute!
I need some big bows now that my daughter is bigger. I'll have to go back to your source!
So time without a car is clearly very productive. Are they rebuilding it?
NO WAY!! How RUDE!! You should have said, "Oh, so-n-so!? Honey, you forgot your moonpie!" HA!
I notice that Pinkie is getting SO tall!! She's really growing up! And I love your designs! Good for you that even without a car, you've been productive!!
As usual, too stinkin cute!!! I've said it before & I'll say it again, you are so talented. And thanks for that WM tip. BFF is almost as talented as you.
Adorable!!! She is the cutest little thing. I love what you have done... perhaps being stranded and carless is a good thing for you! OK, not that good! LOL
You're so talented! Is your sewing machine also an embroidery machine?
We go to HS footballs games at a school that just opened this year. Two weeks ago was their first home game. I didn't know you went to HS here! :)
I LOVE all your shirts and skirts! Do you applique? I would love for you to make Lil B some stuff! I have such a hard time finding her pants that fit and shirts that met my southern style here in Missouri.
I wouldn't even care if it was a Walmart shirt with her initials on it! ha!
Did you get your car back?
Wow, what a wardrobe! What a lucky little girl to have such a talented mom!
You are so creative!!! That little model of yours is too cute :)
