We Made It!

We are back from our white water rafting and biking trip and we had a great time!!!

The rafting was a blast! The 15 mile bike ride? Not so much. I am not sure why anybody chooses to partake in something that hurts your rear soooo much! But the weather was lovely and the leaves were gorgeous and I was with my precious daughter so what more can a girl ask for?

I had a massage yesterday but I am still recouping--ha, ha--so more later. My projects for this week include listing fall/winter clothes on eBay and planning Pinkie's 5th birthday. It is not until December but we always have it early so Nana can come for both Halloween and the party. This year's theme is Pampered Pooch/Pink Poodle. What fun it is going to be!

Wonderful to hear that you had such a great time!

The biking part cracks me up. My hubs bikes (triathlons, etc.) and once a year I do a 40 mile bike event. I complain about my bum THE WHOLE YEAR! :) :) ;) No, I wouldn't trade Lance Armstrong positions. Wonder if he's always in pain? Wink!

Cannot wait to see Pinky's birtday. You are always so creative!

Way to go...I could probably make it through the rafting but would be jello after that bike ride. So glad you got a massage.

Another party...it's so much fun to hear your plans!

Hey, this is a non sequitur (which by the way, doesn't that look like a Southern spelling of a word if ever you saw one?) but I don't know how else to contact you. I just wanted to drop you a line and say this dress my daughter wore today made me think of your blog - http://shimmycocopop.blogspot.com/2009/10/anatomy-of-blog-photo-shoot.html. I wondered if I was attracted to it especially because I'm a displaced Southerner too - living outside Seattle. I figured you'd "get it" what I was going for with this as her official-until-you-grow-out-of-it-birthday-party-attending dress. Thank God the cupcakes had green frosting. The mess sort of camouflaged until I can get it dry cleaned! PGS greetings from a fan of your blog! Kristina
